Available Courses

  • A survey of British Literature from the fifth century through the eighteenth century. Attention is given to the artistry of the major authors’ works, the manner in which these works reflect and respond to the prevalent world views, and how Christians are to respond to these works (Prerequisites: ENG1330, ENG1331).
  • This course is designed to orient students to PC compatible computers. The course includes a study of basic computer hardware, MS Windows with command prompt commands, word processing software, and an introduction to spreadsheet software. Other computer-related topics will be explored as time permits.


  • This course will concentrate on writing based on experience, personal reflection and exploration, and exposition. Emphasis will be given to clarity, organization, creativity, and mastery of the conventions of English grammar, usage, rhetoric, and punctuation.


  • A foundational course designed as a review of basic study methods, learning styles, and research skills.

  • This course involves a study of basic physical science principles, emphasizing chemistry and geology. This course includes a study of geological formations.

  • Introduces the student to Theology Proper as organized by Systematic and Philosophical Theology. Careful consideration is given to divine attributes, Trinitarianism and perspectives on the nature of divine sovereignty.
  • This course examines the various literary forms within the Christian canon. The special qualities of each literary genre will be discussed along with the critical, interpretive and applicational issues that accompany these literary categories.
  • A theological and literary introduction to the first five books of the the Old Testament. Attention is given to the Sinai Covenant and its implications for the rest of Scripture.

  • Designed to survey eschatology, including an examination of God’s prophetic plan involving the rapture, Judgment Seat of Christ, Tribulation, Second Coming to the earth, etc. Attention is given to the diversity of interpretive methods and the pretribulational, premillennial approach.
